“I was lucky enough to spend a full day birdwatching near Nevado del Ruiz, on the Manizales side, with Paola as our guide. From the very first moment, I was amazed by her ornithological knowledge. She recognized the vast majority of bird songs with incredible ease, identified the species instantly, and shared anecdotes about them. She also knows the Nevado del Ruiz area perfectly, so we were able to make the most of our time in the field.
